Is scoring good marks really important?

Is scoring good marks really important?

Hello! You must have noticed the new look of my blog, I worked on it yesterday night, as I needed some extra space, I had to make these changes and that’s the reason I couldn’t make any new post yesterday. Let us get into the topic now.

Everyone in life either want to get a job in a reputed company or start up a business and make it a success so that, they can earn lots and lots of money. Some people have the idea that exam results cannot decide their future. But, is it really so?

In my last post, I had mentioned “Success cannot be achieved without intellect” and now, I’m saying “Intellect without knowledge is useless!”.  What do MAJORITY of the Indian teens, usually do? This is how their routine look like: 1. wake up, 2. Grab the phone and check out the messages, notifications from various social networks such as Facebook, twitter, Instagram, etc., 3. Text their friends, 4. New notifications and messages arrives, they reply to them, and this continues for hours!

Next, they pretend to study, with the book on the lap and the phone on the book! And when they finally realise they are screwing up their future, they don’t have enough time to get prepared for the exams and they successfully mess up their exams.

After the exam results are out, their moron friends, so called “bros, bffs, dudes, sis…” come to them and tell them that the education system is crap, it’s the fault of the teachers that we score low, they tell them about billionaires who once dropped out and are now successful and so on. And they believe them, just to satisfy their failure, ineptitude to normalise the loss and so on. This is one of the biggest reasons that they go on repeating the same shit each year and finally when they have completed their school, they don’t get admission in good colleges and finally, neither do they get a job, nor they are able to establish their business, simply, because of lack of knowledge. The dropouts, who are billionaire and millionaire now, were good students too. They used to get great marks. They left their education firm, only when they realized that their business is a success and they need to invest more time into it.

Most of the teens who score poor marks, share a common idea that the students who get good marks, have no brains, they don’t learn anything, they con the bookish texts and regurgitate them on their answer sheets and score great marks. But this is to not true at all. When someone learns or memorises something, it gets stored in the brain. They can use that information do deal with problems in real life too.

Knowing something extra is always better than not knowing it.

Some students who fail to score good marks by memorising stuffs, try to devise new methods to succeed in the upcoming exams and score the same shit again.

They need to understand that memorising isn’t a stupid act, it adds to your knowledge, making you more intelligent and also adds up to your experience.

If a person memorises something in a language he/she understands, she/he must understand it, the brain automatically understands what the text means, that’s how the human brain works, there is no other way.

And they are the failure students themselves, who doesn’t understand a bit of the texts, because they feel like education is crap, it has nothing to do with practical life.

They see articles on social networks from famous people where they are asked not to worry about the marks, to chill and build up skill. But do they build up skills? No, they go on further reading those articles, and when they have read it full, they log in to the network again, and start wasting their time, again!

They waste their time on idiotic stuffs on the internet like an idiot, and finally, ruin their exams.

For those who fail to score good in exams:

The most important thing is to learn from your mistakes. Take up a resolution to study harder and score good and stick to it. Do not ever repeat those mistakes again. The next time your moron friends offer you a brainwash, ignore them! Look for better friends.

Now after reading this, please do not forget everything what you just read and open the social network again, instead, open a book and give it a read.

That’s all for today.

If you have read the post carefully, key points aren’t required.
